About Us

Jeremy started this family Practice in 1965, when he qualified from Salford School of Chiropody. He was elected to the Council of the Society of Chiropodists in 1989, where he served the Profession for 9 years. He, with the help of with his then M.P. David Alton, now Lord Alton, was the prime mover in the change of our Professional Title from Chiropodist to Podiatrist. He was the Podiatrist to Liverpool F.C and Everton F.C. and has been treating the Players since 1984.

He was an International high jumper, loved playing football and cricket and is now a keen motorist. Jeremy often drives his classic cars to rallies in the UK, Europe, the USA and Canada.

Chris, Jeremy and Gill’s elder son, graduated from the Northern College of Chiropody and Podiatry in 1989. Chris is the local BUPA Nursing Homes’ podiatrist and he treats Diabetic patients at several G.P. practices. He treats Liverpool FC first team players on a weekly basis. His specialism is Nail Surgery.

A keen sportsman, Chris was a County Squash Player, has played representative Cricket and Hockey and is now a single figure Golfer.

Gill, Mother of 4 and Nanny to 10, is our Practice Manager. She met Jeremy when they trained together at Salford School of Chiropody. When Gill left College, she worked as a Chiropodist until she married Jeremy in 1966. Gill is the mainstay of our Practice, makes all the appointments and keeps it running like clockwork. She was a keen squash and hockey player and now loves gardening.
